Terms of Use
Using The Gig Scene
The Gig Scene provides event discovery, performer and venue profiles, search, profile claiming, booking inquiries, and related services. Use the service lawfully and do not interfere with other visitors, accounts, data, or platform operation.
Event information can change
Dates, times, performers, venues, prices, age requirements, availability, and cancellation status can change. Confirm important details with the venue, performer, promoter, official ticket provider, or other authoritative source before traveling or purchasing.
Accounts and claimed profiles
Provide accurate account and claim information, safeguard login credentials, and keep managed profiles current. A claim may be reviewed, rejected, suspended, or removed if authority cannot be verified or access is misused.
Submitted and imported information
Information may be submitted by users or obtained from official venue and performer websites, public calendars, ticketing and event providers, structured feeds, APIs, and other public sources. We work to improve accuracy but do not guarantee that every listing is complete or current.
Corrections and removals
Performers and venues may claim eligible profiles. Anyone may report an event or profile correction through the Contact page. Requests are evaluated based on identity, authority, accuracy, public interest, and applicable law.
Third-party services
Ticketing, reservation, performer, venue, map, social, and other external links lead to services The Gig Scene does not control. Their availability, terms, privacy practices, prices, and transactions are their responsibility.
Intellectual property and media
The Gig Scene owns its platform software, layout, and original branding. Performer names, venue names, logos, photographs, event posters, promotional media, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners or licensors. Uploading content confirms that you have authority to provide it. Rights holders may submit a copyright concern through the Contact page.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape or overload the service abusively, bypass security, introduce malware, impersonate others, submit fraudulent claims, harass users, publish unlawful content, manipulate advertising measurements, or use platform data for spam.
Moderation and accounts
We may correct listings, limit features, suspend accounts, or remove content when reasonably necessary for security, accuracy, rights protection, legal compliance, or enforcement of these terms.
Service availability and responsibility
We aim to operate a useful and reliable platform, but interruptions and errors can occur. To the extent permitted by law, The Gig Scene is not responsible for decisions or losses caused by reliance on unconfirmed event information or by third-party transactions and services. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
The service and these terms may change. Updated terms apply from the stated effective date. Questions may be sent through the Contact page.
