Advertising Terms

These terms apply to direct local advertising purchased from The Gig Scene.

Price and geographic coverage

The current standard price is $5 per week for each ZIP-code-centered advertising territory using approximately a 10-mile radius, unless checkout clearly shows another radius or price. The purchase is targeted advertising coverage—not ownership of a ZIP code.

Priority and rotation

Eligible direct local campaigns have priority over house advertisements and Google AdSense fallback placements. Multiple qualifying direct advertisements may rotate fairly. Availability, rotation, search traffic, privacy choices, and visitor geography affect delivery.

Recurring billing and campaign state

Each selected territory contributes to the recurring weekly price. A campaign begins serving only after required payment and approval states are satisfied. Pending, paused, rejected, canceled, expired, or failed-payment campaigns do not serve. Adding or removing territories may change future recurring pricing as disclosed before the change takes effect.

No exclusivity or guaranteed results

Territories may overlap and multiple advertisers may target the same area. Advertising is not exclusive unless expressly agreed in writing. We do not guarantee a number of impressions, clicks, leads, sales, conversions, attendance, placement order, or uninterrupted delivery.

Cancellation and refunds

Advertisers may cancel through available controls or by contacting The Gig Scene. Cancellation stops future renewal according to the provider’s effective date. Completed charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where The Gig Scene confirms a billing error. Campaign removal for a rules violation does not automatically create a refund.

Creative and destination responsibility

Advertisers are responsible for having rights to their names, claims, images, and other creative content. Ads must be accurate and link to a safe, functioning, relevant destination. Redirects or destination changes must not introduce prohibited content, malware, credential theft, or deception.

Prohibited advertising

Illegal products or services, deceptive claims, malware, explicit adult content, counterfeit goods, hate or extremist content, impersonation, unsafe destinations, rights infringement, and materially misleading offers are prohibited.

Review, rejection, and removal

The Gig Scene may request changes, reject, pause, or remove a campaign for payment failure, policy violations, complaints, security concerns, legal risk, platform integrity, or misleading content. Administrators retain final approval and moderation control.

Reporting limitations

Direct campaign impressions and clicks are operational estimates. Reports may exclude repeats, bots, blocked requests, failed requests, privacy-restricted activity, and technical errors. They are separate from Google AdSense reporting and are not audited measurements.

Pricing changes and contact

Material pricing changes will be disclosed before they apply to a new purchase or future renewal when required. Contact questions through the Contact page.
