Prayers is the cholo-goth electronic project of Rafael Reyes (Leafar Seyer) . Originally formed in San Diego in 2013 as a duo with Dave Parley, Prayers pioneered the "cholo goth" movement by blending darkwave, industrial, and synth-pop with themes rooted in Chicano culture and Reyes' personal experiences. The project has collaborated with artists including Travis Barker, Kat Von D, and Christian Death, earning a devoted cult following with its cinematic visuals and haunting electronic sound.
