In 1995, Hoey's journey to holiday rock stardom began when his electrifying version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" hit the airwaves, blending classical finesse with heavy metal flair. Since then, his career has spanned over 30 years and 23 albums , crossing genres from blues to surf rock to metal — all powered by his unmatched passion and connection with fans of every generation. Beyond the stage, Hoey's music has reached millions through Hallmark greeting cards , in movies like "Deck the Halls" starring Danny DeVito, radio & Disney theme parks around the world to this day. His success has also given him the opportunity to give back, supporting veterans through clothing drives and community outreach. With his son Ian Hoey now joining him on guitar, Gary continues to prove that the spirit of rock 'n' roll — and the magic of Christmas — are alive and well.
