On Saturday, September 26th and Sunday September 27th, A2 JAZZ FEST will be back and lifting up A2 Jazz in their most exciting community event ever. In TOTALLY FREE community celebration of their 10th anniversary, they will be working with Ann Arbor native and video artist David Olson to create a multimedia showcase to celebrate 10 amazing years of the A2 JAZZ FEST and the power of gathering the community around music. Great friend of the A2 JAZZ FEST, Tariq Gardner, will be bringing his group Evening Star who has recently been hosting a monthly “Come One, Come All Community Sing” in Detroit. Evening Star frontman Cole Ward, a professional choir director, will engage listeners in a special opportunity to participate in this year’s A2 JAZZ FEST as musicians. On Saturday, they are excited to take over all three floors of Ann Arbor’s stylish Rabbit Hole with art, music, student workshops and of course, JAZZ! And on Sunday we’ll be at the beautiful and intimate Raven’s Club for three more sets of great music. The 2026 A2 JAZZ FEST will also feature our incredible Outreach Education Stage with another Ann Arbor native, Professor of Jazz at the renowned Jacobs School of Music, band leader and highly sought after sideman, Sean Dobbins (Registration open soon!) Join on Saturday & Sunday, September 26th & 27th at The Rabbit Hole (210 S. First St., Ann Arbor) and The Ravens Club (207 S. Main St., Ann Arbor) for a celebration of music in community and in support of LOCAL Jazz.
