Throughout the summer, Casper Police Department project leads have been working to implement the Safety Improvement Projects developed for each of Casper’s six policing areas. These projects were shaped by concerns identified by residents, area-specific data, and conversations held during the first two rounds of community meetings.The next series of meetings will provide residents with updates on the work completed so far, early results, and the steps that remain. This will also be the community’s final opportunity to offer feedback and direction before project work concludes in early November. These commanders work directly with residents, patrol officers, and community partners to identify concerns and implement practical, area-specific solutions.First quarter meetings, held in January 2026, provided residents with crime and activity data specific to their area and offered an opportunity for open dialogue with officers.During the 2nd quarter meetings, community members received information on the safety improvement project or projects developed for their area.
